How to Prepare
- 1Bring your referral and Medicare card
- 2Schedule mammography in the first 2 weeks of your menstrual cycle
- 3Avoid caffeine for 1 week before if breast tenderness is an issue
- 4For pelvic ultrasound: a full bladder is sometimes required — we'll advise at booking
- 5Wear comfortable, loose clothing
- 6Inform staff of any breast symptoms or family history
