Associate Professor Terry Kok

Associate Professor Terry Kok is a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist with subspecialty expertise in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac (CT, MRI), Thoracic, Neuro and Abdominal Imaging. He graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine, ranking first in his graduating class. Following early training in General Internal Medicine, he completed specialist Radiology training in Dublin, Ireland and was awarded the Gold Medal in the Final Fellowship Examinations in Radiology.

He gained Neuro and Body MRI experience at the national neuroscience centre at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. He completed Interventional Radiology fellowships at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin (with Prof Mick Lee) and at Guy's, St Thomas' and Evelina Children's Hospitals in London, as well as a Cardiothoracic Radiology fellowship at the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge. A/Prof Kok is currently the Director of Imaging Services at Northern Health, where he leads one of Victoria's largest public medical imaging services.

He has an extensive academic and research portfolio, with more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He is also the author of Interventional Radiology for Medical Students, published by Elsevier. He holds academic appointments as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and RMIT University.
