Prepare at home
You may need to fast for a few hours if contrast dye is planned. Bring your referral, Medicare card and any previous imaging.
02 · Arrival
Check in with our team
Arrive 15 minutes early. Our radiographer will confirm your details, answer questions and explain the scan.
03 · The Scan
Lie back for a few minutes
You lie on a padded bed that moves through the scanner. It is painless and usually takes 10 to 20 minutes.
04 · After
Back to your day
You can leave straight away. A radiologist reviews your images and sends the report to your doctor within 24 to 48 hours.
